IO - TVLI

TVLI — “I wrote IO on the behringer Poly D. It's one layer using paraphonic mode. This allows me to play chords that layer harmonies differently based off which note I press first in the chord; I can play the same chord twice but if I change the first note I press I get a completely different feel to the chord. This makes for really beautiful and unique possibilities while also using some portamento. I have cabling to allow filter cutoff increase based on after touch pressure so I don't need a third hand. The drop has the same chords going with a post processing LFO/ gate in Ableton to give the plucky sound. And for the ultra synth nerds like me, as an owner of a real Model D (which is used for the lead bends in IO). I completely endorse the Poly D, without it I never would have made this track.

Named after Jupiter’s innermost moon and the solar system’s most volcanic world, TVLI’s pensive track feels like flying through space.
